Participate in Global Youth Service Day!

Global Youth Service Day is April 26, 2008. Boston Cares is mobilizing 600+ youth and families to volunteer in the Boston area. Interested in participating? Check our Web site or contact Andrew Olson, BOOYAH! Youth and Family coordinator at aolson@bostoncares.org.

Highlighted Agency! Hale Barnard Services (http://www.halebarnard.org) provides services for a diverse older population. Hale House provides private rooms, meals, and 24-hour care to 56 elderly m en and women. Boston Cares projects at Hale House include: Arts & Crafts Night, Cards Night, Scrabble Night, and Trivial Pursuit Night. This project is open to kids 10 and up. Organize a Drive in your Town, your Church, your School or DayCare Center!
Room to Grow (www.roomtogrow.org) has a wish list on file with Boston Cares. Have your kids help other kids in need!

• Winter coats sizes 18months to 3 years
• Winter boots sizes, youth sizes, 4-10
